Appreciated very velvety dark-red roses. The flowers are large and elegant shapes. Growth is strong, shoots are red and dark green. Excellent for group planting and cutting. Very strong smell. Awarded the Rose of India, winner of scent contest Cup in Geneva. (Meilland 1966).
